Keeping your makeup look light, minimalistic, and glowy. Ultimately, sometimes more is less. We have curated a makeup routine that is sure to keep you looking fresh and put together all summer long.
This routine will have you out the door in five minutes! Please note that all of the products that will be mentioned are cruelty free, which is very important to us.
Your complexion matters
The first thing you want to start with is your complexion. In order to keep your makeup in place all day, you are going to want to use a primer. We love this new Pro Filt’r Mattifying Primer by Fenty Beauty. It will keep your makeup in place all day and create a smooth canvas for your skin.
To even out your complexion, we have been using this CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ by It Cosmetics. We love this product because it gives just the right amount of coverage, while being lightweight and also protecting your skin from the sun.
The best way, in our opinion, to apply and blend out your CC cream is to use a beauty sponge like this one by BEAUTYBLENDER.
An important tip is to soak the sponge in water and wring it out before use. This will ensure a seamless blending. After applying our CC cream, we love adding a touch of cream bronzer, like this Matte Bronzer by MILK MAKEUP.
Nude style for your eyes
Now, let's talk eyes. Our favorite easy look is to use a fun cream eyeshadow and some waterproof mascara. This Eyes to Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadow by Charlotte Tilbury in the shade Jean is a must.
